Description

To help us achieve our ambitions, we are currently looking to recruit a crucial post in the Resources Directorate. Our Chief Finance Officer will also be the Section 151 for the authority, managing around 160 staff including revenues and benefits.  We are in a strong financial position as an organisation but there are challenges ahead, particularly around the health and social care integration agenda.   The new postholder will need to ensure we retain a strong grip on finance issues, support colleagues across the council, promote further savings, and develop a strong relationship with the CCG.  You will in all likelihood have a local government finance background, with the ability to develop excellent relationships with partners, colleagues and senior Members.
