As the Managing Director, reporting to the Chief Executive and Board of the RDA, you will be central to realising our future through the development and delivery of our economic and regeneration strategy. You will be an advocate for the borough, working with local partners, stakeholders, political leaders, education, health and skills organisations and of course the private sector. Able to navigate through and resolve complex issues, you will be outcomes and results focused, keen to implement and deliver the objectives of our Growth Plan as well as developing our business plan to build upon our success to grow the company.

With knowledge and experience across economic development, investment, property and regeneration, you will be familiar with developing multiple funding programmes at a local and national level.  Working with Rochdale Council’s Leadership Team, Cabinet and the RDA Board of Directors, you will be adept at influencing and developing strong relationships.  You will have highly developed leadership skills, able to motivate staff across teams, including those not under your direct supervision, and have strong interpersonal skills and be able to operate in a politically sensitive manner. But most importantly you will have the passion, vision and drive to realise our ambitions and deliver for our residents and businesses.
